- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PL-D-0036-0002. This contract action will be accomplished by using other than competitive procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C.637 and in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(b)(2). It is the intent of the Government to award a task order under an existing IDIQ Contract. The task order is firm fixed price. K & S Design Construction, Inc., Cypress, CA. This is not a solicitation. The Los Angeles District has a requirement to repair the shoulders at the Truck ByPass at Fort Irwin, CA as follows: survey for elevations, alignments, tapers, and conforms for east and west sides of bypass road to smoothly conform to both sides for bypass lane; excavate 3deep, 10wide shoulder on both sides of Truck ByPass Road; grade and compact shoulder area; Fine grade for proper asphalt depth; install 3 of asphalt for 10wide shoulder on both sides of Truck ByPass Road; install shoulder backing and compaction for all new asphalt edges; grade new drainage swales from new asphalt to assure proper drainage; provide 12 each Guide Signs and 12 each Warning Signs.
