- Recovery Action - This modification is issued to obligate American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 funds for the purpose of supporting research to develop and design algorithms and software to support a Super Optimal-Power Flow which seeks to co-optimize the power system tasks across multiple temporal and spatial scales, while explicitly incorporating stochastic variables and constraints for the purpose of maximizing system reliability while minimizing costs of the electric power grid. All funds issued on contrac DE-AC02-05CH11231 are done on a reimbursement basis since this contract is for research and the costs of performance are not reasonably estimable to support a fixed price contract.
