- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has issued a request for quotes for a firm-fixed price contract for a dump truck with dump bed to be delivered to Pomme de Terre Lake Project, Hermitage, Missouri. The NAICS code for this project is 441229 and the size standard is $7 million. This solicitation has been set aside for small business. Vendors will need to go to the AFSI website to obtain a copy of the solicitation (link is provided on this page). Please note that vendors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA). Additionally there are some unique reporting requirements relevant to the use of ARRA funds (see FAR 52.204-11 for details). Quotes are due no later than 10:00 a.m. 14 August 2009.
