- DaFA8620-05-G-3028 0064, Lynx I SAR Data Distribution - Phase II: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), 703 AESG intends to award a new delivery order on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. for development and demonstration of a Lynx I SAR data distribution capability. This effort will comprise the design, development, integration, testing and deployment of an automated (machine-to-machine) capability to export Lynx I SAR data, including Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) data and National Imagery Transmission Format (NITF) imagery. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. General Atomics ASI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Predator and Reaper systems, and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform this effort. The government does not own the data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 336413. Please indicate number of employees relative to the size standard of 1,500 for determination of small business status.
