- Description
- Work consists of a sewer system improvement project at Philpott Dam and Park at the Philpott Reservoir, Henry County, Virginia. The purpose of the improvement is the removal of areas within the Philpott Dam and Park from septic sewage systems to a force main system that will tie into the Henry County Public Service Authority sewer extension. The proposed improvement will service facilities at the Visitor's Center, picnic areas, campground areas, and the powerhouse. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. Estimated cost range of this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 1 June 2009. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. This solicitation is a HUBZone Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110 and the size standard is $33,500,000.00. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccc.gov. After completing CCR, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov. Contractors with existing FedTeds logins should be able to use their existing logins. In order to locate solicitation Contractors can go to FedBizOpps and search for the solicitation number at www.fedbizopps.gov. Contractors can register to be put on a plan holders list that others can access through the FedBizOpps site.
