- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) (Code 3613) has a requirement for commercial machining services for various components developed from a variety of materials such as stainless steel (300, 400 and 17-4 PH series), aluminum (5000, 6000, and 7000 series), medium and mild steel, HY-80,100, HSLA-80 and 100 steel, pipe, structural steel, nickel aluminum bronze alloy, titanium, etc. Specific requirements are outlined in the attached requirements document. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS is 332710 and the size standard is 500 employees. NSWCCD intends to issue Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) in accordance with FAR Part 13.5-Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Future requirements will be competed with those vendors issued Blanket Purchase Agreements as a result of this announcement.
