- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Services (NESDIS) Division located in Silver Spring, MD is planning to add an additional $50,000 of ordering capacity to an existing indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The existing contract is with RT Logic, Inc, a small business concern, and the contract number is DG133E-08-CQ-0024. The additional ordering capacity of the contract is required to fund unforeseen travel and other equipment support costs. This increase in the maximum contract value will be awarded as a logical follow-on sole source modification to RT Logic, Inc. The planned modification will not add any additional time to the contract, and will cite the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS under this procurement is 334220, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Award of the modification is expected to be made in the month of August 2009. This notice constitutes the required publication of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR 5.203. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this notification will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement No telephone requests will be honored.
