- This is a sources sought notice published for market research purposes only. Anticipated NAICS Code: 541330, Size Standard: $4.5 million. The Nashville District anticipates advertising a base period of five (5) years, and one (1) long term option Hydropower Engineering Services solicitation in the near future. This is a required market survey. Please read the general project information attached. Your participation in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please do not respond after the close date listed in the attached survey information. Hydropower Engineering Services Announcement A minimum of one and a maximum of five contracts will be awarded to perform hydropower engineering services for the Nashville District. Main use of this contract will be for hydropower plant maintenance and repair design tasks where the project primarily requires electrical and/or mechanical engineering and related engineering expertise. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the development of scopes of services, studies, reports, estimates, design criteria, plans and specifications for maintenance and repair of existing hydropower facilities for the Nashville Districts Hydropower program. Task orders will include operation and maintenance (O&M) type projects with emphasis on quick response. Work will be issued by negotiated firm-fixed-priced task orders. Groups with prime-sub relationships or joint ventures will be considered as well as firms having all disciplines in-house. Responding groups or firms must have demonstrated hydropower experience in the fields of engineering listed above. The total cumulative amount of all task orders will not exceed $5,000,000 over the five-year program. The contracts are anticipated to be awarded in March 2010. Please list your business size when submitting your Interested Vendors Information on FBO. This will assist the government in determining which sector of business this project maybe set-aside for or if Full and Open competition will be necessary. Please do not request industry presentation to the Nashville District until after award has been made on this action.
