- Amendment No. 1 to Invitation for Bids (site showing minutes, additional clauses) PROJECT NAME: Emergency Watershed Protection Program Auxiliary Spillway Repair, Big Caney Watershed, Sites 21 and 31. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. LOCATION: Chautauqua and Cowley Counties, Kansas SUMMARY: This project is for the auxiliary spillway repair through the Emergency Watershed Protection Program in Chautauqua and Cowley Counties, Kansas. Work is as detailed in the plans and specifications and includes earthfill, excavation, and pollution control. QUANTITIES: Earthfill volume (10,230 Cu. Yd.); Excavation (3,535 Cu. Yd.) and Pollution Control (795 Lin. Ft.) TIME FRAMES/DATE: Performance time, including mobilization and days for inclement weather is 23 work days, assuming 10 hour work-days and 6 day work-weeks. Tentative dates for: 1) solicitation packet will be posted July 6, 2009, bid opening, August 6, 2009. Prospective contractors must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. A DUNS number can be obtain by calling the Dun and Bradstreet at 1-866-705-5711 or via the Internet at http://www.dnb.com. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration can be completed at the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA).
