- Description
- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a committment by the Government. The following information is provided to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully provide the described capability. 508th Aircraft Sustainment Group, Hill AFB, UT intends to award a five (5) year contract to support the USAF in Digital Moving Map software and hardware development efforts. Digital Moving Map capability provides a technology which aids in awareness and assessment of changing threats and tactics in combat environments. The Digital Moving Map capability will require post fielding software support including capability development, integration support, and correction of anomalies identified during flight. The contract will provide the required post fielding support, software and hardware upgrades and new capability additions. The capability needs to demonstrate the ability to access, utilitize and integrate proprietary data and selected source code supplied to the Government, governed by Restricted Rights data portion of the FAR and requires special security measures. The Government is prohibited from distributing the source code outside the existing development facility and is not allowed to furnish the source code to the managers of simulators for inclusion in training devices. Those security measures require the government to protect the data from disclosure to any outside agency, company, or individuals. Potential offers are requested to provide an executive summary; relevant history and evidence of past performance/capability to perform the tasking not to exceed 10 pages. Information submitted should be pertinent and specific to that which is indicative of the offeror's capabilities to successfully perform this effort. A vendor point of contact, including an email address must be included in your response. The government does NOT intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Copies of your submitted information will be distributed to the AF engineer and the contracting officer for review. Intersted parties are requested to submit three (3) copies of the aforementioned summary to Eileen Snyder, 501 ACSS/GFLA, 6050 Gum Lane, Bldg 1215, Hill AFB UT, 84056-5820 no later than 15 calenar days after publication of this notice.
