Description

This project consists of purchase and installation of back-up generator, associated equipment and labor for the Central Idaho Dispatch Center. We are upgrading the back-up power supply to support all outlets in the Dispatch Center, BLM Radio/computer room and Forest Service phone/server room. Our estimated need is: Power Supply: Generator:75 KW 120/208 three phase Propane powered, liquid cooled Standby power rating, enclosure listing UL-2200 200 Amp transfer switch 1 ea 200 amp breaker (FS) 1 ea 60 amp breaker (BLM) Rewire existing FS panel with new copper 3-Phase wire for transfer switch in BLM utility room Enunciator panel to monitor generator Cutting asphalt and repair to run wire across parking lot Trade in of current 20KW 2 phase generator Labor and associated materials, permits, etc.. The project is located at the USDA-Forest Service, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Supervisors Office, 50 Highway 93 South, Salmon ID 83467; in the Central Idaho Dispatch Center, the BLM Radio/Computer Room and the Forest Service Phone/Server Room. Offers are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, September 14, 2009. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately August 15, 2009, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
