- RECOVERY PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CLEARING, GRUBBING, AND CONTSTRUCTION OF APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES OF EARTH SURFACE LOGGING ROADSAND CONVERTING 4,300 FEET OF TWO TRACK ROAD TO HIKING TRAIL. IN FERGUS COUNTY, MT. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND INVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated period of performance is 98 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee 20% of bid price; payment and Performance Bonds 100% of the contract price. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizops.gov and www.fedconnect.net. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about August 17, 2009. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive contract award under this solicitation and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) website at www.orca.bpn.gov. This project is North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5M. This project is open to both large and small business under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
