- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes/offerors are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USDA Forest Service, R-4 Utah Procurement Support Center in Salt Lake City, Utah is soliciting quotes/offerors for the following requirement: Fencing materials for the Fremont River Ranger District for ongoing forest support projects. Materials meeting the following minimum specifications are required. ITEM NO. ITEM DESCRIPTION QTYUNIT 001 Net Wire, 39” tall (Field Fence, 330 ft. rolls) 110Rolls 002 10 ft. Steel "T" Posts (min. of 1.33 lbs. per foot) 570Each 003 10 ft. Wood Posts (treated, 5 to 6 inch diam., round) 75Each 004 Barbed Wire (12.5 gauge minimum, 50 Rolls 1,320 ft. rolls, single-barb) 005 Tie Wire (9 gauge minimum, 10 lb. rolls) 100Pounds 006 Staples, 1-1/2 inch 100Pounds 007 10 inch Steel Spikes, straight 100Pounds 008 Delivery of above items to 1 Each Fremont River RD, Loa, UT 84747 All sales to the Government are tax exempt. The Synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 and 2001-23. The following FAR provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies the acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Federal Tax Identification Number, Central Contractor Registration Number, and DUNS Number. FAR Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implementing Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
