- Description
- This is a notice of intent to extend the current contracts (W911S0-04-D-0002 and W911S0-04-D-0003) with CALIBRE Systems, and PARSONS Infrastructure Technology, Inc on a sole source basis for a base period of seven months and three one month options. These two contractors are supporting the integration and standardization of the Range and Training Land Program (RTLP) and the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) program and are used to integrate the facilities management, environmental management, munitions management, and safety programs to ensure sustained availability and accessibility of the Armys live-fire training ranges and maneuver training lands. The sole source extension will allow these two contractors to maintain the current support services across the various installations throughout the United States in order to maintain the availability and accessibility of the training ranges until the follow-on contracts are awarded. These two contractors have established support at various training sites throughout the United States (i.e., Ft Bliss, TX; Ft Benning, GA; Ft Hood, TX; Ft Irwin, CA; Ft Eustis, VA; Ft Bragg, NC). The contractors are currently providing services across the 50 states and maintain a level of integration between RTLP and ITAM that is necessary for smooth continuity of operations within the Sustainable Range Program. No award will be made solely on the basis of this notice since a synopsis of intent to place an order cannot be considered a request for proposals/offers-- Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists and whether a request for proposal is appropriate. No solicitation/quote documents exists and no telephone inquires will be accepted--written responses, if applicable, prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement, must be received by this office within 6 calendar days after this notice -- If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, task orders will be placed with the above named vendors. A request for proposal will not be considered an affirmative response.
