- Solicitation  Westinghouse Anniston (WA) is soliciting the services of a qualified pipe cleaning company to clear obstruction from Brine piping in the DFS PAS.  Contractor to supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to clean the 2"-BR-506-LB-ET from 3' downstream of Isolation Valve 29-1"-V-092 to 23-FE-026. Piping is located approximately 18 feet above the floor inside the DFS PAS.  Scope of work includes the removal and re-installation of any blind flanges, valves or instrumentation as needed to clean piping. Piping shall be returned to original configuration at the completion of work.  Contractor will install new gaskets where needed. Bolt torque for the 2" piping flange bolts is to between 48 to 60 ft/lbs dry and for the 1" flange bolts is between 20 to 25 ft/lbs dry. Contractor will use Westinghouse Anniston (WA) calibrated M & TE for torque requirements.  Length of piping is approximately 100 feet. Piping material is Schedule 40 Hastelloy welded. Gaskets are 150#, Viton, Full Face, 1/8" thick, 60-70 Shore A Hardness.  Refer to attached drawings 03-6-P-506-1-SC, 03-6-P-506-2-SC, and 03-6-P-506-3-SC for additional information.  PPE selection will be determined by the Shift Safety Engineer in consultation with the PSM. The JSA must be updated as PPE requirements are changed.  Notify Waste Management (Ext. 2228) for all waste disposals.  There shall be no deviation from the original scope except as allowed through WA Subcontracts by means of modification to current subcontract.  Contractor(s) will participate in the Pre-Job Briefings to insure that good communications is established with WANCDF Contracts and Maintenance departments before any work begins. Extreme caution shall be taken to insure that unplanned outages will not occur.
