Description
Description; The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a contract to The Boeing Co., Kent, WA in support of the Navy’s Non-Acoustic ASW(Anti-submariner Warfare) Sensors and Systems program pursuant to Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) N00421-09-R-0007. In particular interest to NAVAIR and the Navy is a need to fulfill a requirement to provide submarine localization and tracking with a Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) platform consistent with the High Altitude ASW CONOPS. It is expected that the resultant contract shall be a Firm Fixed Priced basis for the procurement of: (a) Magnetic Anomaly Detection (MAD) Integration and Ground Testing. (b) MagEagle Compressed Carriage (MECC) Flight Test. (c) Modeling and Simulation. (d) Real time track reconstruction, analysis, and signal processing. (e) Technical Support and Management. (f) Scheduling. (g) Monitoring and Drafting of Performance Reports. (h) Risk reduction efforts to measure and quantify the inherent magnetic noise sources of a representative MAD UAV platform. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). The Boeing Company is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein, in order to satisfy the government’s requirement. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code anticipated is 541712.
