- FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT Robert Sung at EMAIL robert.sung1@us.army.mil OR phone at 732-532-8621 DESC The US ARMY CECOM LCMC intends to acquire 3 each of Commercial Ultra 8500 or Commercial Equivalent, 6 Digital Video Recorder, 6 NVG Qualified Pilots Monitor, and 6 Installation Kits to include nose Mount Hardware for Installation onto six Bell 212/214 helicopters, Installation Survey, In-Country Installation; and in Country Operator & Maintenance Training for FMS Case Yemen Case B9-B-UBU. Delivery of product and completion of services in Yemen must be complete prior to September 30, 2010. If you can NOT do so, do NOT respond to this market survey. This is a request for Technical Source and Sort, please also provide P&A. Salient Characteristics The contractor shall provide an IR Thermal Imager with CCD Camera and Auto Tracking capability that is suitable for mounting and operation on rotary wing aircraft, Bell 212/214 Helicopter with the following salient characteristics: OperationDay/Night capability; image intensified; has auto scan and auto tracking modes; NVIS compatible CCD CameraColor, low light, HRVP, continuous & stepped zoom control IR ResolutionMUST BE 320x240 InSb Wavelength3-5 um OpticsContinuous to 18X Field of View(nominal) H: 50o 2o, V: 30o 2o; 3 (wide/medium/narrow) IR settings Stabilization & Steeringgyroscopic, vibration isolation Stability(nominal) 30-50 u radians EnvironmentalMIL-STD-461 & MIL-STD 810 Operator Interfacehand control unit Please include P&A for system with and without laser pointer. Installation Kit: Nose mount hardware with quick disconnect mount and cable kit for the Bell 212/214 helicopter. Include other items as required. NVG Qualified Pilots Monitor: Monitor must be qualified for use with Aviators Night Vision Goggles and the Commercial Ultra 8500 or Commercial Equivalent being provided. Digital Video Recorder: Must be qualified for use with the Commercial Ultra 8500 or Commercial Equivalent being provided.
