- The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fourteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The purpose of this request is to replace two (2) existing filter screens east and north of Bldg. 875 which are beyond their life cycles and increasingly maintenance intensive. The filtration screens are part of the Pump Station (Bldg 875) for Homestead ARB, Florida. Responses should be addressed to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, ATTN: CESAM CT-S, P.O. Box 2288, Mobile, AL 36628 0001 and will be directed to Terricka Leonard, (251) 441 6500. Firms interested in being considered shall provide a point of contact with telephone number and e-mail address. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this synopsis nor return the data provided. The results of this synopsis will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of publication of this notice.
