- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS The Department of Veteran's Affairs, Lake City VA Medical Center, located in Lake City, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Sole Source Requirements contract with STERIS CORPORATION to provide a preventive maintenance service agreement for various Steris equipment. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 9:00 a.m. EST, August 14, 2009, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS 811310 with a Size Standard of $7 Million.
