- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis, items as set forth herein, from SIE Computing Solutions (Carlo Gavazzi) D&B # 065142556, three (3) 509 Series VME64x Split (10/10) Enclosure, with the physical characteristics set forth herein as well as 26 Air Impedance Module Assemblies. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized in this procurement. The Enclosures are custom made and require non-recurring engineering fees, which will also be included in the award. Specifically, the items to be procured are: (1) Three each P/N 5099SNP10FK-100, 509 Series Enclosure: physical 9U high, 17" wide, 20.5" deep; 19" EIA rack adapters;.09" light weight 5052-H32 aluminum alloy bolt together construction; outside surfaces painted beige, medium texture finish per FED-STD 595-27780, beige; subrack front loading, 20 position, 6U x 160mm, IEEE 1101.10 compliant; recessed 2" from front panel; power supply 1,000 watt, universal AC input (90-264VAC) providing the following outputs: +5V @ 150A, +3.3V @ 40A, +12V @ 20A, -12V @10A; backplane (split) dual 10 slot VME64x J1/J2 monolithic backplanes with 160-pin (5 row) DIN connectors installed, and electronic bus grant (for jumpering IACK and BG pins for unpopulated slots); thermal management pressurized cooling prov! ided by (3) 12VDC fans, located beneath the subrack in a front removable fan tray; front/side air intake, upper rear sides exhaust; indicators/controls rear on/off power switch; front reset switch; front power supply output status LEDs; rear panel power input; i/o rear panel with 6 (six) individually removable I/O plates; front panel shall be solid and removable; miscellaneous: 115VAC power cord included; fully assembled and wired and tested; (2) P/N 509SZ122-04-31, Air Impedance Module Assembly - 26 each; (3) Non-Recurring Engineering for item #1 herein. The basis for this sole source procurement is that these items are custom made and proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer. These items will be utilized to support AEGIS land based test facilities. Please reference NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) # N00178-09-Q-2569. There will be no written solicitation as a result of this notice.
