Description: Turkey Springs Biofuels Demonstration Understory thinning of mixed conifer forests on up to 280 acres. Requires removal and utilization of all bole wood larger than 2 inches diameter and at least 85% of branches and leaves. Also require mowing, mastication and removal of approximately 60% of understory shrubs and small trees. This project is set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation for this project will only be made available through the Federal Business Opportunities website - www.fbo.gov.
