Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source purchase order for Repair Kit, Bliss Brakes Engineered Arresting System Corporations part #52D673-1. The 325th Contracting Squadron hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Engineered Arresting System Corporation (ESCO) for the acquisition of Repair Kit, Bliss Brakes part #52D673-1. The Repair Kit is required specifically for the installation and operation of the BAK-12 Aircraft Arresting Systems which is unique to the United States Military and supports runways located on Air Force Bases worldwide for the sole purpose of facilitating the stopping force for tail hook-equipped fighter aircraft. This announcement constitutes the only notice. The reference number is F4ATA39210A001. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336413. The contractor shall provide the following: Repair Kit, Bliss Brakes part #52D673-1, QTY = 24. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider capabilities of other interested parties if received no later than Monday Aug 10, 2009 12:00 noon Central Standard Time. A sole source award will be accomplished with Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation if no responses are received by the above date.
