- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC), Training Systems Division (TSD) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to Silicon Graphics on a sole source basis as the only supplier and manufacturer of the listed items. However, interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements, which demonstrates their ability to meet the needs of the Government. Interested sources are encouraged to submit a quote. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N61339-09-T-0017 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 Correction. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334111 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Evaluation Criteria: The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this notice will be the most advantageous, representing the best value to the Government. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded. If quotes are received, the Government will award on a lowest price technically acceptable basis to the offeror meeting the specifications of this RFQ. Best value is expected to result from the selection of the technically acceptable quote with the lowest evaluated price. The failure of an offeror to provide information sufficient to determine conformance with the solicitation may result in the offeror being ineligible for award. All offerors MUST BE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTERED (CCR).
