- RECOVERY - Mine Closures Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ). This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). This is a three-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, project not to exceed $200,000.00. The work consists of closure of vertical opening mine shafts by filling them with rock and earth. The NAICS code is: 212399. The project sites are located in Jackson, Josephine, and Douglas Counties in the Ashland, Butte Falls, Grants Pass, and Glendale Resource Areas, of the Bureau of Land Management, Medford District, Oregon. The estimated start-work date is September 21, 2009. The full solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net (paper copies are no longer available). The estimated issue/posting date of the full solicitation is August 14, 2009. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
