- RECOVERY - Mine Closure, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). This is a three-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity project not to exceed $750,000. The work shall consist of furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for closure of mine adits (horizontal tunnels) or shafts (vertical openings). The closure structures will be grates attached to the rock around the portal (opening of a horizontal tunnel), grates attached to a section of culvert placed in the portal, or constructing a fence around a shaft. Project sites are located in Ashland, Butte Falls, Grants Pass and Glendale Resource Areas, Jackson, Josephine and Douglas Counties, Medford District, Oregon. Estimated start work date is October 1, 2009. Awarded task orders will require a 100% performance and 100% payment bond. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is August 20, 2009. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
