Description
NAICS Code: 334511 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), Region 9, has a requirement for satellite telemetry systems with integrated water quality meters and sensors. The telemetry system provider must support connection to other vendor’s multiparameter probes or sondes (such as YSI, Eurka, Hydrolab, or InSitu). This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12, conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular. Services required include 2 years of limited satellite service for three systems; web hosting for 2 years for five systems; unlimited data cellular service for 2 years for two cell systems. Products required include 3 each satellite telemetry systems (Include: Modem, Enclosure, Logger, 40W Solar Panel, 12V/24A Battery, Antenna & all mounting hardware and cables); 2 each cellular telemetry systems (Include: Modem, Enclosure, Logger, 40W Solar Panel, 12V/24A Battery, Antenna & all mounting hardware and cables). Additional sensors and items required will be listed on the RFQ. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Award shall be based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable quotation. The successful offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. The CCR database may be accessed at www.ccr.gov. For the RFQ, contact slater.zachary@epa.gov and evans.carrie@epa.gov. All interested businesses are invited to respond to this requirement within 10 days after publication. It is the offeror’s responsibility to ensure receipt of email requests. Telephone questions will not be answered and collect calls will not be accepted. NOTE: Offerors submitting insufficient information may be eliminated from competition.
