SNL Site Map Industry Day Request. Map_Badge Office/IPOC Draft Agenda Indusrty Day Info. Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia) is motivated to support potential Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets draft Request for Proposal (RFP) (HQ0147-09-R-0011) bidders with information about our capabilities in Targets technology. As a Federally Funded Research & Development Center (FFRDC) Sandia must ensure that interactions with any potential bidder during the RFP process be equitable to all potential responders. We now have a path forward and can describe our role, as follows: 1. Sandia will hold an Industry Day meeting with common participation from all interested bidders. All bidders would be offered the opportunity to attend SNL Targets Capability Briefing at an Industry Day meeting. a. Meeting Format Requirements: Meeting is held in common with all information and briefing materials made available to all bidders. 2. Hold one-on-one meetings with each interested bidder and an MDA government representative, with dialog information captured and disclosed to all bidders. All bidders would be offered the opportunity to set up a meeting on SNL Targets Capability. a. One-on-one Meeting Format Requirements: 1. Common briefing material provided 2. Involvement of comparable SNL expertise in the meeting 3. Same venue 4. Same time duration At this time we have scheduled the Industry Day and one-on-one meetings for Thursday and Friday August 20-21st at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. The draft agenda is as follows: Thursday, Aug. 20th 8:00am-12:20pm: Series of briefings on Sandia Targets capabilities 1:00pm-6:00pm: One-on-one meetings (one hour increments) Friday August 21st 8am-12pm: One-on-one meetings (one hour increments) Directions for attending Industry Day Step 1: The meetings will be held at the Secret National Security Information (SNSI) classification level (DOD Secret equivalent); therefore clearance information must be submitted to the Sandia Badge Office. The following information must be included in the clearance documentation: 1. Name 2. Social Security Number 3. Citizenship 4. Date of Birth 5. Type of clearance and Date of clearance 6. Dates of visit 7. Purpose of the visit 8. Person to be visited (must be a SNL employee; not security personnel) 9. Place to be visited (Sandia National Laboratories) 10. Security officer signature and Security title (the word security MUST be in the title) Visitor's security officer must fax clearances directly to SNL incoming visits at (505)284-8812. Badge office telephone number is: (505)284-3626. Clearance documentation must be received no later than 3pm MDT on Tuesday, August 11th. Step 2: Companies requesting attendance at the Sandia Industry Day and one-on-one meetings must submit the attached request form to Adriana Aragón, Haaarago@sandia.govH and Joniva Mondragon, jmondr@sandia.govH, no later than 3pm MDT on Tuesday, August 11th. Attendance is limited to four (4) representatives from each company. The Sandia POC for the MDA/TC RFP interactions and Industry Day meetings is Adriana Aragón 505-284-1947, aaarago@sandia.gov Prohibited items Sandia's workplace is drug-free and smoke-free (smoking is prohibited on all Sandia-managed property, inside and outside of buildings). Certain electronic and RF-transmitting devices or their features are prohibited or controlled in Sandia's secure areas, including but not limited to: • Cellular telephones (including Blackberries) • Computers or associated media • Electronics equipped with a data exchange port used to connect to automated information system equipment • Radio-frequency transmitting equipment • Recording devices (audio, video, optical, and data) Lock boxes are available at the turnstiles (before you enter the secure area) to lock up cell phones, etc. or you can leave them in your car. Directions to Sandia National Laboratories Sandia/New Mexico is located on Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) in southeastern Albuquerque. If you are driving, you can easily find us by proceeding south from I-40 on Eubank Boulevard. The Sandia Badge Office is now located just outside the base at the Innovation Parkway Office Center (IPOC), 1611 Innovation Parkway SE. From I-40, go south on Eubank Boulevard, turn left at the light to continue on Eubank (just before the Eubank Gate entrance to the base), and turn left onto Innovation Parkway where Eubank Boulevard ends. The three-story IPOC building is located on the left side shortly after you turn (maps attached). When exiting IPOC & wanting to get onto base, you will have to head north, bear left, merge with South bound traffic coming onto base. Once on base, make your first left turn going South on 20th Street. Follow the street as it curves into Hardin Blvd. You will be heading West on Hardin. Turn left going South at the second stop sign, 9th Street. Turn left going East on R Street and the parking lot will be on your right side. Proceed through the turnstiles, to the Auditorium on the first floor of building 962.
