Description: RECOVERY--The proposed procurement is unrestricted with a NAICS code of 237310 and with a small business size standard of not to exceed an average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years of $33,500,000.00 ($33.5 million), including worldwide affiliates. Place of performance is Hesston, PA. The scope of work will involve the culvert cleaning, ditch shaping, placement of 4 culvert pipes and the delivery and placement of 1,800 tons of shale and 2,400 tons of 2A stone along 36,800 feet of road way. There is a pre-bid site visit scheduled for 10:00 AM on August 21, 2009 at the Raystown Lake Visitor Center, 6145 Seven Points Road, Hesston, PA 16647. All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. No phone or fax requests for a copy of solicitation will be accepted. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to the contracting office at Josephine.e.baran@usace.army.mil. The solicitation package will be available o/a 07/28/2009 to interested vendors to create an account (unless they already have one) and download/obtain the solicitation at FEDBIZOPPS (Federal Business Opportunities aka FBO or FEDBIZOPPS) http://www.fbo.gov You must be CCR registered in order to create an account at FEDBIZOPPS.
