Description
This public announcement is to notify interested parties of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) intentions to procure the construction services for the addition and sound reduction in existing lobby in Building 296 at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City Int'l Airport, Atlantic City, New Jersey, 08405. Work shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the addition and noise reduction. The NAICS code is 236210. Period of performance will be 330 calendar days. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. A mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 9:00 AM EST will all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center. Drawings, specifications, and the solicitation will be handed out to site visit attendees only. Security issues require companies to identify personnel who will be attending the mandatory site visit. All parties interested in attending the site visit must notify the Contracting Officer by Tuesday, August 11, at 2:00 PM EST via email at mario.maccarone@faa.gov. All proposals are due by September 10, 2009, at 2:00 pm EST. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit attendees. ALL questions must be in writing (e-mail) and submitted by Sept. 2, 2009, at 2:00 pm EST. Estimated range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid bond shall be 20% of proposal. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price are required after notification of award. Award resulting from the SIR will be based on the following evaluation criteria: -have adequate resources (financial, technical, etc.)to perform the contract, or the ability to obtain them. - be able to comply with the required or proposed delivery or performance schedule, considering all existing business commitments; - have a satisfactory performance record; - have a satisfactory record of integrity and business ethics
