- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA) is a mandatory source for vehicles under the Federal Property Management Regulation (FPMR) 101-26.501 that purchases about 60,000 new model year non-tactical vehicles for Federal Executive Agencies and the Department of Defense (DOD) annually. Additionally, GSA Automotive will be issuing a competitive solicitation for various quantities of Light Vehicles, Vans, SUV’s and Sedans for the delivery to the country of Japan with the goal to maximize passenger appeal in appearance, comfort, and safety combined with excellence in reliability, operating characteristics, and economy of operation. Total Time for Delivery is 270 days after receipt of order (ARO). The contract type will be a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This procurement is not a Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. However, all qualified Small Business concerns are encouraged to submit offers. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336111 and the size standard to be considered a Small Business is 1000 employees or less. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Offerors must also complete Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Large businesses will be required to submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan. Offerors pricing shall be proposed in both the U.S Currency and Foreign Currency. Solicitation QMAA-AA-090002-N will issue on/about 08/07/2009 at this website (www.fbo.gov), and will close on 08/21/2009. Anticipated Evaluation Factors are: Technical Capability, Management Capability, Past Performance, and Price.
