Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ATO Information Technology office in Silver Spring, MD has requirements for the acquisition of VAX 4300 Emulation solution in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The Period of Performance shall begin no later than 09/30/2009 and be completed no later than 01/31/2010. The FAA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order or contract. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The FAA seeks to obtain offerors' best prices available for all requirements set forth in the Request for Quote (RFQ) and Statement of Work (SOW). Offerors will be rated on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Instructions and evaluation information are included in the RFQ. All offers (quotes, to include technical proposal/information) are due by 3:00 pm CST on 09/07/2009. Written submissions must be received (not just postmarked) by the due date. Responses via e-mail shall be in either Adobe.PDF format or Microsoft Word 2000 (or earlier) format. This RFQ is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Therefore any cost associated with the proposal submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. All eligible and responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the FAA. All offers should be submitted to Monica Rudolph (see RFQ for full contact info) and reference RFQ: DTFAAC-09-R-06484. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541519, Other Computer Related Services. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov.
