- ATTENTION: This Sources Sought (Market Research) Announcement resulted in the following Solicitation (RFP) No. W9128F-09-R-0068 - Chapel Center, PN 10903 (FY09) at Fort Rucker, Alabama Request for Information (Sources Sought Notice) Ft. Rucker Chapel Center The Omaha District, US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking qualified members of the small Businesses community (Small Businesses (SB) Small Disabled Small Business (SDB) Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) Service Disabled Veteran Owned SB (SDVOSB) Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZones) and Section 8(a) Participants) or small business-led teams, and small business joint ventures and Other than Small (OTS) concerns that qualify under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220, Title: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, for the following requirement located at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The principal components of the work to be performed include Design and Construction of a standard -design Chapel Center. Sanctuary: 400 seating capacity, Activity center 239 seating capacity. Sanctuary includes; raised pulpit area and a baptismal suite. The facility includes 15 religious education classrooms, 2 multi purpose rooms, blessed sacrament room, sacrisity/robbing room, choir room, resource center, nursery, restrooms, kitchen. Exterior; includes paving, walks, curbs and gutters, parking, information system, anti-terrorism/force protection measures, storm drainage, landscaping and site improvements. Access for the handicapped will be provided. Connection to the Energy Monitoring Control System and interior communications/building information systems. Heating and A/C 54 tons will be provided with separately zoned self contained units. Supporting facilities include utilities, electric service, emergency and security lighting, fire protection detection and alarm systems. Comprehensive interior design services are required. The total space requirement for the primary facility is approximately 22,600 SF. This announcement is part of our market research, and your responses are sought to identify sources that have the knowledge, skills, and capability to perform the work. Interested HubZone contractors, including small businesses and small business-led teams that qualify under NAICS Code 236220 are hereby invited to submit a response to the market survey to demonstrate their technical, managerial and business capability to provide the requested services. It is anticipated that the Government will issue a firm fixed price contract. The estimated price range for this effort is between (See FAR Part 36.304) $10,000,000.00 - $13,000,000.00. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR A FORMAL PROPOSAL. This notice is provided as information to the marketplace and is an invitation for an expression of interest and demonstration of small business capability to perform the anticipated work. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. All interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this market survey request.
