- This is a sources sought synopsis. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The list of items being considered for Option Year 7 is on contract F41608-00-D-0323 (request list from the point of contact). NOTE: Title is hereby changed to read "NOTICE TO EXERCISE OPTION 7" and the Secondary Point of Contact listed below is no longer applicable. This is a long term requirement type contract with General Electric. The contract consists of sole source items. The items are coded 4D, indicating a unique design capability that is only available through the prime vendor or 4H, indicating a lack of sufficient data to allow competition. Qualification requirements are currently not applicable to this requirement. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) manages the items. If a source becomes qualified after the items have been added to the contract, the item(s) will be removed from the contract when the next option is exercised. Source: General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, OH (cage 07482), and General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn MA (cage 99207). No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests directly from the requester are acceptable. Authority Title 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). Justification: supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
