Description
AMENDMENT ONE (01) CHANGES THE GOVERNMENT ESTIMATED RANGE TO UNDER $25,000. THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATED RANGE WAS AN ERROR. This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) set aside for current contract holders of BLM national IDIQ contract for Fuels Reduction. The specifications, terms, and conditions applicable the parent contract as well as those included in this RFP apply to this project. The Jericho Road Fuels Reduction Project includes treating vegetation on 22 acres by reducing hazardous fuels from Wildland Urban Interface areas on the Sulphur Ranger District. The project is a result of an ongoing Mountian Pine Beetle epidemic that has killed over 90 percent of the mature lodgepole pine in the area and has created hazardous fuels accumulations. The Jericho Road Fuels Reduction Project is located on the Sulphur Ranger District, Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest and between the towns of Granby, Colorado and Grand Lake, Colorado. The Project Area is located in Sections 12 and 13, T2N, R76W, 6th PM and Sections 7 and 8, T3N, R75W, 6th PM Grand County, Colorado. All legal descriptions referenced herein are located using the 6th Principal Meridian, Grand County, Colorado. The project time for this project is 30 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The Government anticipates beginning work on this project as soon as practical after contract award. The Government’s estimated range for this project is $25,000 to $50,000. There will be a pre-proposal meeting for this project held on August 17, 2009 at the Sulphur Ranger District Office located at 9 Ten Mile Drive, Granby, Colorado. A project site visit will follow. All participants must RSVP for this project by calling Kevin McLaughlin at 970-887-4107 on or before August 14, 2009. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is August 9, 2009. The anticipated due date for proposals is August 24, 2009. These are tentative dates and subject to change. These dates will be confirmed on the solicitation and may be changed by any amendment that may be issued to the solicitation. The solicitation can be downloaded at no cost at www.fbo.gov.
