- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN SARASOTA, FLORIDA The United States Government seeks to lease first class, modern contiguous office space. Street level space is preferred, upper floor space requires two (2) accessible elevators to the proposed space. The space offered should consist of approximately 9,866 Rentable Square Feet in Sarasota, Florida. The space must yield 8,579 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet. Public transportation must be available within a two block radius of the offered space. A minimum of fifty-seven (57) parking spaces are required at no cost, or at reasonable commercial rates onsite or within a two block radius of the offered space. All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Security, Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Subleases are not acceptable. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: North: Fruitville South: Bee Ridge East: I-75 West: Beneva The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and must be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than December 1, 2010. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building's ownership. In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal agency other than the General Services Administration (GSA) Contracting Officer or their authorized broker representative, CB Richard Ellis. The GSA Contracting Officer is Michael Ellis, 954-356-7698.
