- Description
- Ft. Yuma Health Care Center in Winterhaven Arizona requires one new ultrasound imaging system. The price shall include equipment delivery and installation to Fort Yuma IHS Health Care Center located at 1 Indian Hill Road, Winterhaven, AZ 85364. The equipment must be capable of operating in B-Mode, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Color Power Doppler (CPD), Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave modes. It must support transducers with linear, phased array and curved array formats. Further, it must include a full array of measurement and calculation packages. In addition to the delivery and set-up, vender shall provide four consecutive hours of equipment training. This training shall include an overview of the equipment and accessories, instruction on the features, functions, and user interface and the care/maintenance of the system. Following is a summary of the salient characteristics of this system: a. The system shall include a digital beamformer with the ability to transmit, receive and process acoustic data from up to 192 individual transducer elements using a single acoustic firing sequence. b. The system shall include a digital beamformer with a 128 element transmit aperture. c. The system beamformer shall use 64 analog to digital converters. d. The system shall have broadband width architecture with an operating frequency of at least 1 to 13 MHz. e. The system shall process a dynamic range that is at least 165db. f. The system shall support a gray scale range of at least 256 levels, 8 bits. g. The system shall provide a lighted work surface with a backlit keypad for ease of use. h. The system shall have the ability to function by AC/DC or battery power with the same degree of functionality. i. The system shall go from the off status to active scanning in fewer than 15 seconds. j. The system shall support ECG. k. The system shall be able to be hand carried. l. The system shall be able to withstand a drop from a height of 32 cm onto a steel plate and remain safe and functional. m. The system shall weigh no more than 5 kg/11 lbs. n. The system shall be no larger than 30.2 cm (H) x 27.7 cm (W) x 8.0 cm (D) / 11.8” (H) x 10.8 (W) and 3.1” (D). o. The system shall have an LCD screen size no smaller than 10.4”. p. The system display area shall be no smaller than VGA 640x480. q. The system display contrast shall be a minimum of 400:1. r. The system display brightness shall be a minimum of 300 nits. s. The system display-viewing angle shall be at least 85°. t. The system shall have Digital Video Interface (DVI), S-Video, and audio output. U. The battery life (run time) shall be 2 hours or greater. The time to charge the battery to full capacity shall be 4 hours or less with a minimum battery shelf life of 60 days. More complete ultrasound imaging system requirements will be provided with the Request For Quotations (RFQ). The date the RFQ will be released is on or about August 26, 2009.
