Description

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Priced Purchase Order, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to GP Solutions, Inc. located at 201 N Charles St. Ste 2406 in Baltimore, MD 21201-4110, for user license transfers as well as upgrades to NARA’s PRESNET application which is used by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum and its visitors for researching the Presidential collections. The PRESNET application utilizes SEEK database software in conjunction with UNIDATA software. A Single Source justification was prepared in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This purchase order will include the following: Contract Line item 0001: SEEK (24 users) license transfer, a Unidata RDBMS (24 users) from Windows NT to Windows 2003. Line item 0002: Convert and enhance the NARA PRESNET application for the Windows 2003/2008 migration. All responses to this synopsis must be received in this office not later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on August 18, 2009, in order to be considered. The anticipated order issuance date is August 20, 2009. Questions shall be submitted electronically to Mr. Charles Cunningham, NARA Contractor Support, at charles.cunningham@nara.gov.
