- Description
- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to modify a fixed price contract with Standard and Poors CUISP, 55 Water Street, 45th Floor, New York, NY 10041, to add the Central Index Key to CUISP Mapping File and weekly updates data set. The Contractor shall provide data that must include over 100,000 9-character CUSIP numbers mapped to the corresponding Central Index Key (CIK) of the filing entity. CIK is used as the primary identifier in the SEC's Edgar system. All corporations and individuals are assigned a unique CIK number to use in all of their SEC filings: oThe data must be available in relational database format. oThe data must be available for transmission via ftp (file transfer protocol). oThe master file must be delivered to initialize service; thereafter updates must be delivered in the same format as the master file. oData updates must be available daily and weekly. oUpdates must contain additions, deletions, and changes to assigned CUSIP numbers and corresponding Central Index Key.” The period of performance is August 2009 through September 30, 2010 with one option year. This notice is in accordance with FAR Pt. 8.405-6(b)(1)-only one source is capable of responding. We believe Standard and Poors to be the only known source that posses the capability required by the SEC. Within 7 days of the date of the publication of this notice (August 12, 2009, 4:30 PM EST), interested firms may identify their capabilities and qualifications to respond to the requirement in writing via mail, email, or facsimile. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bondafide competition exists and whether a request for quote is appropriate. No solicitation package is available. Written responses, if applicable, must be received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be placed with the above named vendor. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1-Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Potential vendors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration.Gov (CCR.Gov) to be eligible for award. Questions can be addressed to R.
