- Description
- The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to enter into a sole source contract with Corporate Executive Board (CEB), Arlington, VA, to assist in addressing issues related to corporate strategy, operations and general management, and focus on identifying management initiatives, processes, tools and frameworks. There are four factors that contribute to the unique nature of the CEB bundles services: The CEB supports the objectives of the U.S. Government Chief Learning Officers; Access to an expert research staff and rigorous validation process; Unique cross functional purview; and, Shared cost business model which allows unmetered service to a wide range of services for a fixed cost. CEB dedicates a full time staff of 100+ economists, consultants, analysts and researchers, to study the frontier practices of the world’s leading organizations. Each year, it explores 3-4 of the most pressing topics facing educators and offers market-tested solutions to members. The strategic research staff synthesizes hundreds of interviews and thousands of pages of reading into syndicated studies available to members only. Rigorous demonstration of the best practices produces concrete examples of what was done, how it was done and careful analysis of the actual results. The proposed period of performance is one year from the date of award. Requests for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
