- The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) intends to solicit for purchase of 10 each, Coupler, Transmission, IAW Unisys Drawing No. 1213620-201, Rev B. These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS) to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. These parts are in support of the NWS/NEXRAD radar program. The supplies are to be shipped on an FOB Destination basis. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. Any small business sources are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 days after its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide a product that is the same or equivalent to the specified drawing. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other Government agency to which it has previously provided this item. In order to receive the complete Request for Quotation package, interested firms may send an email request to karen.l.christian@noaa.gov or send a fax request with an email address to telephone number 816-274-6952, ATTN: Karen Christian. Failure to provide the required information may deem your request non-responsive. The Government reserves the right to solicit quotes based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 335999. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the Agency. All contractors doing business with the Eastern Region Acquisition Division (ERAD-KC) must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) or certification with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
