- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912L209T0014 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 811198 and business size is $7,000,000. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to remove existing generators, and purchase and install four (4) AC generators, for the Arizona Air National Guard Base, 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Tucson, Arizona 85706. The contractor shall: remove existing generator; purchase and install new Onan Marquis Platinum 5500 Fuel injected (Or Equal) generator and hardware on three (3) 2004 Chevrolet G-vans (modified) and one (1) 2003 Chevrolet G-van (modified). New generator must be able to withstand high usage. The generators will be used as power supply for roof-mounted A/C units. Contractor shall return removed generator and hardware to the 162FW. A site visit will be held 0800 MST, Thursday, 20 August 2009 at the 162nd Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard, 1500 E Valencia, Tucson, AZ 85706. Interested parties are encouraged to attend.
