Description
The U.S. Government has anticipated requirements for a family of tactical High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Multiband radios, ancillaries, installation kits, spare parts, training, Field Service Representatives, Site Surveys/Site Preparation, System Installation Services, and Maintenance Support Services. The purpose of this Market Research is to identify interested sources that can provide/manufacture and deliver a family of tactical HF, VHF, UHF and Multiband radios that interoperate with Harris RF-5800 series radios, to include operation with Harris Citadel encryption, Sierra II Programmable Encryption, and Harris Quicklook electronic counter-counter measures (ECCM) frequency hopping algorithms. Harris RF-5800 series radios are being used extensively by countries with forces that are deploying to or in Southwest Asia in support of Overseas Contingency Operations. Consequently, the radios to be acquired must interoperate via Harris Citadel encryption, Sierra II Programmable Encryption, and Harris Quicklook electronic counter-counter measures (ECCM) frequency hopping algorithms. It is anticipated that any Delivery Orders (DOs) that are issued under a planned Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, with an ordering ceiling of $78.5M, will require initial deliveries within 75 days After Receipt of an Order. Responses are required by 20 August 2009, and must include documented capability to manufacture and deliver a family of tactical HF, VHF, UHF and Multiband radios meeting the aforementioned requirements.
