- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Axceler, 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801. The acquisition requires the purchase of the following ControlPoint products: one multiple web font server farm, one test farm – multiple web font end farm, unlimited SharePoint Users, and 1 service agreement to include one year of support and upgrades under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The purchase of this software will ensure the infrastructure will be a more stable and supportable platform for our SharePoint Staff. This software is propriety to Axceler. In addition, SSA believes that Axceler is the only responsible source capable of providing maintenance, updates, and fixes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement via email to Nichole.Mccollum@ssa.gov by August 18, 2009, which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES. If no responses are received by the cutoff date, the SSA will proceed to negotiate a sole source agreement with Axceler. The Government reserves the right not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice. Telephone calls regarding this matter will not be accepted, nor will they be returned.
