Description
The VA Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a requirement for the testing and analysis for sleep-disordered breathing for referred beneficiaries of the VA. Contractor shall provide a Sleep Study Report of the Sleep Study covering three nights of collective sleep data, including respiratory events (apneas and hypopneas, AHI Index), snoring intensity, blood oxygen saturation, pulse rate and respiratory effort. Contractor shall analyze data and send a comprehensive report to the prescribing VA physician. Contractor shall provide an FDA-approved and clinically validated portable test device for sleep apnea testing at the residence of any beneficiary, or for performing a sleep study for any hospitalized patient. No geographic restriction shall be placed on any beneficiary to be tested. Contractor shall provide the Sleep Study and Interpretation Reports on a flat fee-for-service basis. No additional equipment, hardware or software shall be purchased or additional sleep technicians employed by the VA Salt Lake City. Contractor shall provide sleep studies to an unlimited number of patients simultaneously. No limitation shall be placed on the number of Veterans provided a Sleep Study. The VA Salt Lake City may refer as many veterans as desired, including those patients requiring immediate testing due to medical necessity or policy. The North American Industry Classification System number for this solicitation is 621999. All prospective offerors desiring to submit proposals in response to any Federal Agency must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number at www.dnb.com. There is no cost to obtain this number. Offerors must also register with the Central Contractor Registration Site, at www.ccr.gov. This acquisition 100% set aside for small business and the Small Business Size Standard is $10m.
