- Description
- The work consists of furnishing and delivering to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District a complete Leica fully integrated high end Global Positioning System (GPS). Included are two triple frequency Leica 1230 GPS receivers to include geodetic gps.glonass/Galileo capability. Furnish initial on-site training at a project within the New England Districts region. Provide loaner equipment during the warranty period. Provide technical support and installation of software upgrades at a location within 15 miles of the New England District office. Program the New England regions Leica spider network base stations into the purchased Leica 1230 GPS system. The GPS system requested must integrate seamlessly with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers existing Leica system. Deliver equipment to the current project site within 10-14 days after contract is awarded. Provide an authorized warranty service center within 15 miles of the New England District office. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 31 August 2009 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) which links to the FedTeds website (see below). Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 with a Small Business Size Standard of no more than 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
