- Statement of Work & SpecificationsTesting and inspections of fire alarm equipment in accordance with NFPA 72, latest edition, NFPA 25 and current TJC requirements.Four (4) - 25% Test and Inspections per year, representing quarterly requirements for the FY 100% test and inspection and fulfilling the quarterly requirements for 100% circuit testing as per TJC.Testing and inspections covered by this agreement will cover all fire alarm systems and associated equipment identified for all buildings on the VA Roseburg Healthcare System Campus.All technicians' qualifications, testing procedures and documentation must comply with the requirements established by NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and TJC.Testing to include: 1)All supervisory signal devices.2)Valve tamper and water flow devices.3)Smoke detectors (including duct detectors).4)Electromechanical releasing devices.5)Heat detectors.6)Manual fire alarm boxes.7)Occupant alarm notification devices (all audible devices and visual devices).8)Transmission equipment for fire department notification.All supervisory devices will be tested/inspected quarterly.All tamper switches will be inspected and tested on a semi-annual basis.All smoke detectors, including duct detectors, all electromechanical releasing devices, all heat detectors, all manual fire alarm boxes, and all occupant alarm notification devices will be tested/inspected on a yearly basis.The company shall be an authorized Notifier Engineered System Distributor for Oregon and at least one service personnel present at testing shall be Notifier factory trained.
