- Request for Proposal No. RS-03-09-071 Request for Proposal Letter The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a combined solicitation synopsis for Commercial Items or Services for the subject requirement. It is our intention by this solicitation to secure the best qualified organization available to perform this requirement, cost and other factors considered. Proposals for this requirement may only be submitted by Small Businesses as this solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns. The solicitation package is enclosed. If you desire to respond, your proposal should address the requirements set forth in Section E.5(d) PROPOSAL PRESENTATION AND FORMAT. All proposals will be evaluated against the evaluation criteria shown in SECTION E.5, 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS. Proposals are due back to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission by 2:00 P.M. EST on Monday, August 31, 2009. Proposals shall be either mailed (one original and three copies) to the below address or sent electronically to Jennifer.DeFino@nrc.gov. Electronic submission is preferred. DeFino Division of Contracts, MS TWB-01-B10M 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852 The proposal shall be signed by an official authorized to bind the company, and it shall contain a statement indicating a proposal acceptance period of not less than 60 days. The deadline for questions is Monday, August 24, 2009. The answers to the questions received will be posted in the form of an amendment to the solicitation.
