- NOUN: LOMBARDINI INSTALLATION ENGINE KITS; NSN: 2815-01-459-0006; QTY: ESTIMATED 200 (BASE YEAR) AND ESTIMATED 100 (OPTION YEAR I AND II); U/I: Kits; DELIVERY: 180 DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF DELIVERY ORDER TO RED RIVER ARMY DEPOT, JASON KAHLER, BLDG 561, 100 MAIN DRIVE, TEXARKANA, TX 75501. APPLICABLE TO: M900 SERIES TANKERS. FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: To facilitate additional fabrication capabilities to support Red River Army Depot production. Build Lombardini engine installation kits IAW TACOM drawing #s: 12469566; 11670990; 11670994; 1246951; 11670997; 122275422; 11670999; 11670993; 11670995; 11970998; 11671000; 12275421; 12496883; 12469564; 12469568; 12476065; 12476064; 12469560; 12476062; 12476063; and 12476067. This is a requirements type contract for base year with two option years. Please note quantities are estimated and may change based on TACOM and US Armys requirements. Contractor will be required to complete all asset kits and ship to Red River Army Depot within 180 days on receipt of a delivery order. Contractor shall build all pieces IAW TACOM drawings, ensure all hardware is available to install kits; paint kits, and provide a copy of installation instructions with kits. Painting to be IAW TB 43-0213; TB42-0242; and tm 43-0139. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 1 Sep 09. Anticipated Award Date: 15 Sep 09. The solicitation will be posted to FBO. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted.
