Description
The Joint Contracting Command-Iraq, Mission Support Division intends to solicit, negotiate and award a requirement for a network and power backup hardware for the Ministry of Interior, located in the International Zone (IZ) in Baghdad, Iraq. The NAICS code is 541512. The Small Business Size Standard is $10.M. This purchase is to include a point to multipoint wireless microwave radio system, 7 point to point microwave radio antennas and the associated routers and cabling to the antennas, 4 industrial Uninterruptible Power Supply units; 50,000 feet of CAT5 Unshielded Twisted Pair cable conduit; 8 Hewlett-Packard ("HP") Servers, 2 for database management, 2 for database management disaster recovery, 2 for Windows Server, 2 for Microsoft Exchange, 2 for internet security and filtering; and 40 Cisco ASR 1000 or comparable router switches with associated racks for the purpose of bolstering the computer network accessibility and sustainability within the premises of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) Headquarters' building with network accessibility and sustainability as an augmentation of the MoI's existing Iraqi Command & Control Network (IC2N). The contractor shall provide sufficient personnel to include a project manager, technicians and trainers to provide this service; all must be fluent in Arabic and English. The contractor shall provide documentation, project status briefings, conduct training sessions and perform on the job training for the Ministry of Interior; these will be in Arabic and English. In addition, the contractor will have Arabic speakers to coordinate troubleshooting and installation tasks. The Contractor must determine how the equipment will be moved witin the building to the final installation location. All installation of equipment will take place from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am in order to avaiod disrupting normal day to day operations. The anticipated contract performance period will be from 30 Sep 09 through 29 Sep 10 (includes 14 day contractor mobilization). This acquisition will be solicited as a full and open competition. The proposed solicitation number is W91GY0-09-R-0050. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 20 Aug 09, via the Federal Business Opportunities web page at www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
