Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation Announcement for The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Intramural Research Program for which the agency is seeking quotes from interested vendors to provide the requirement below. The agency requires Stereo Investigator Software for Design Based Stereology, Image Analysis, and 2D Anatomical Mapping to include six months of software support: Software requires Windows 2000 or XP Operating System. Requirement also to include the following items: DescriptionQtyImage Stack Module for acquisition/analysis of confocal, brightfield and 1widefield fluorescence 3D image stacks. Capability to create and export brighfield and widefield fluorescence image stacks to offline workstations. Annual Software Upgrade and Support Subscription that includes1Software upgrades and technical support. Software module for controlling automated microscope functions microscope1 with motorized internal motorized Z focus drive and fluorescent filter turret Apotome Software Integration Module. 1 Focus Measurement Encoder or equivalent should provide accuracy to 0.1um1 of the actual microscope stage focus position. It is essential that there be closed-loop focus operation for more accurate Z-axis measurements. 2-axis computer-controlled stepping motor system comprised of XY 1stepping stage with linear encoders (0.05 um resolution, <3um accuracy), joystick, slide holder and 3-axis controller (Z axis for encoder feedback) with interface to PC Software module for controlling motorized stage1 Color camera. 1600H x 1200V picture elements native output at 101 frames per second. Multiple alternative binning modes (up to 8x8) at faster frame rates, 1.92 megapixel imaging. Wide-bandwidth light sensitivity, optimal for brightfield and epifluorescent1applications. Should have a Firewire PC interface card to fit C-mount adaptor on the microscope Camera control software module.1 PC Workstation. 3.0GHz processor, 4.0GB DDR2 NECC SDRAM @ 800MHz, 1 nVidia,8800GT 512MB dual VGA or DVI, dual monitor video card, 16x DVD+/-RW drive, 1.44MB; floppy drive, 2 x 500GB SATA 7200 RPM hard drive in RAID 1 configuration, integrated Gigabit NIC, serial port, enhanced multi-media keyboard, and optical mouse. Windows XP Pro DescriptionQty SP2 operating system Minimum 20-inch LCD flat panel monitor (WUXGA). 1920 x 1200 pixel1native resolution.
